Boy, 15, robbed at gunpoint, leading to car chase: Lyndhurst Police Blotter

April 4th, 2024-LYNDHURST, Ohio-On March 18, a 15-year-old boy from South Euclid reported being approached by a masked male suspect with a gun who took several of his belongings. Despite calling the police, the suspect fled in a car towards Richmond Road. The suspect’s vehicle was later spotted by police cameras and pursued, reaching speeds of up to 75 mph before the chase was terminated. Stolen items included a cell phone, headphones, and a jacket totaling approximately $2,500.

On March 24, police responded to a dispute in Lyndhurst Park where a man was chasing a woman. Upon searching their car, officers found marijuana and a white powdery substance, but charges were not immediately filed against the 19-year-old woman from Willowick and the 30-year-old man from Lyndhurst.
