April 6th, 2024-COLUMBUS, Ohio-A man was arrested following a domestic violence incident in Dublin. Police responded to a report of a person with a knife at a residence on Strathcona Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a woman who claimed to have been attacked multiple times and held against her will by the man since Tuesday. The woman stated her children were still inside.
Police safely retrieved the children while the male suspect barricaded himself in the home. After a standoff, 26-year-old Zachariah Lantz was taken into custody. Charges against Lantz include aggravated menacing, domestic violence, kidnapping, and violating a protection order. Previous arrests from February 22 and September 12, 2019, involved similar charges.
