PICKERINGTON, Ohio-Chris Wallace, the coach of Pickerington Central’s girls basketball team, has resigned after three successful seasons, during which the team reached the Division I state tournaments twice.
Wallace, who had been with the program for a total of nine years, cited a desire to focus on his family, especially with four children entering college and wanting to support their athletic endeavors. Wallace’s coaching career spans several sports, including basketball and baseball, with notable experience in both high school and minor league baseball with the New York Yankees organization.
