NORTH OLMSTED, Ohio-North Olmsted Police Department and EMS are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred at a Giant Eagle on Monday afternoon. Bionca Ellis, 32, was arrested in connection with the incident. A three-year-old boy and his mother were transported to St. John Medical Center for treatment.
The condition of the victims has not been disclosed. North Olmsted Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones expressed sympathy for the victims. This incident follows a murder-suicide at the same Giant Eagle location last year. Giant Eagle is cooperating with authorities in their investigation. Ellis has no prior violent criminal history.
