BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-Discovery Center preschoolers celebrated the end of their school year with various activities, including their Annual Spring Program on May 16 and a water day on May 21 in collaboration with the Bellefontaine Fire Department. Firefighter Ben Kennedy provided a high-pressure hose for the children’s enjoyment on a warm, sunny day, and popsicles were also enjoyed during outdoor playtime.
The Early Intervention Department delivered Sensory Kits to the Knowlton Library, funded by an ARPA grant, which will be available for library visitors. Additionally, updates included new staff appointments at the Discovery Center for the upcoming 2024-25 school year, and a presentation from the West Central Ohio Network (WestCON) Council of Governments, supporting Logan County’s developmental disabilities services through shared services.
