The community is rallying in support of Middletown High School’s football team as they prepare to head to the state semifinals for the first time in program history. Some local businesses say the season has been bigger than football for them. “They’re going for this wonderful and once-in-a-lifetime deal, I mean, this is big,” Central Pastry Shop owner Vera Slamka said.
