AUGLAIZE, Ohio- A fatal two-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of US 33 and Bay Road in Moulton Township at 2:56 a.m. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. Ethan Brunswick, 18, of Celina, was driving a 2010 Honda Accord eastbound on US 33 when it collided with a 2012 Kenworth tanker driven by 51-year-old Shane Thomason of Lima, who was turning onto US 33 from Bay Road.
The impact ejected both occupants of the Honda. Brunswick died at the scene, while his passenger, 19-year-old Gage Stein of Celina, sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital. Thomason was uninjured.
