‘I Went in Panic Mode’: Mother Frustrated Following Drive-by Shooting That Injured Two of her Daughters

CLEVELAND, Ohio-Unique Shepherd is seeking answers over a month after a drive-by shooting injured her 13-year-old and 18-year-old daughters on Easter morning. Gunshots penetrated her home while her daughters were upstairs, with the older one braiding the younger’s hair. Both girls were shot, with the 13-year-old requiring emergency surgery to remove a bullet that pierced her colon.

The incident has traumatized the family, prompting Shepherd to consider moving. Despite reporting evidence to detectives, no suspects have been identified or arrested, leaving Shepherd feeling helpless. She expresses frustration at the lack of progress in the investigation, emphasizing the urgency of resolving the situation for her family’s peace of mind.
