BIS Spotlighted During BCS Board Meeting; Miller Honored

BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio-The Bellefontaine School Board’s recent meeting at Bellefontaine Intermediate School showcased various student and faculty achievements and initiatives. Led by Principal Krista Adelsberger and Gifted Intervention Specialist Lindy Martin, students presented the Chieftain Culture Club, aimed at enhancing the school’s atmosphere through student-led committees.

Additionally, recognition was given to Melissa Miller, Bellefontaine Elementary School Nurse, as the Classified Employee of the Year for her 11 years of dedicated service. The board also heard presentations on Bellefontaine High School’s Quiz Bowl team’s recent national competition qualification and the upcoming trip to New York City for the Symphonic Choir, with fundraising efforts underway to support student participation.
