Mason City Schools Remembers Alum who Died in Motorcycle Crash on Father’s Day

MASON, Ohio-Noah Lippeatt, a 2021 alum of Mason City Schools, tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on Father’s Day in Washington D.C. He was 21 years old. Lippeatt, known for his time as a varsity wrestler and mascot Cosmo the Comet, was on his way to visit his family at the time of the crash. After graduating from Mason High School, Lippeatt continued his wrestling career at Campbellsville University before joining the U.S. Marine Corps in 2023. Recently stationed at Marine Barracks 8th and I in D.C. as Lance Corporal, Lippeatt’s memorial visitation is scheduled for Saturday at Liberty Heights Church in Liberty Township, followed by a celebration of life, where attendees are encouraged to wear bright, respectful clothing in honor of his vibrant personality.
