CLEVELAND, Ohio-Jarek Ringler, a senior at a school in Richland County, showcased remarkable skills both as a pitcher and shortstop during his baseball season. He excelled with a .481 batting average, accumulating 39 hits, scoring 36 runs, and stealing 25 bases. On the mound, Ringler achieved a 7-1 record with a 1.15 ERA, pitching six complete games, including three shutouts and a no-hitter, and striking out 93 batters in 54 ⅔ innings. His outstanding performance earned him first-team honors in Division III from District 9 coaches, distinguishing him as the only player from Richland County to achieve this recognition. Three of his teammates, Brennan Fulk, Gavin Barker, and Tyson Ringler, also received acknowledgments as second-team and honorable mention selections.
