NORTH COLLEGE HILL, Ohio-Students in a Hamilton County district will continue using their four-day blended learning model this school year. The model, where students attend in-person classes Tuesday through Friday and work remotely on Mondays, has shown benefits for both staff and students. Teachers report that it aids in lesson planning, student growth, and mental health, reducing stress among students. The model also improves teacher recruitment and retention, attendance rates, student achievement, and provides regular opportunities for professional development and data-driven instruction. Superintendent Eugene Blalock noted that the district was the first in the state to adopt this schedule.
