NORTHRIDGE, Ohio-A juvenile is dead and another teen is facing charges following a shooting in Clark County on Saturday, Nov. 9. Deputies responded to a call at a home on Reno Road in Northridge, where they found a victim with a gunshot wound. The 16-year-old victim was rushed to the hospital but died an hour later despite efforts to save him. The shooting occurred when the 16-year-old who had possession of the gun was reportedly “playing around” with it, believing it wasn’t loaded. The gun discharged, striking the victim in the torso. The 16-year-old who had the gun has been charged with reckless homicide and is being held in a juvenile detention center. The incident is still under investigation.
