AUSTINTOWN, Ohio-Shavon Hasley, 29, from Austintown, is facing an endangering children charge following an incident where she allegedly left her child unattended in a vehicle while she was drinking in a bar.
Police responded to calls about an intoxicated driver leaving Chipper’s Sports Bar with a child in the backseat. Witnesses reported that Hasley and a male companion were drinking inside the bar for several hours while the 7-year-old child remained in the vehicle, playing on a phone. Hasley was later arrested after being involved in a car accident in Youngstown.
