COLUMBUS, Ohio-Basma Alkelezli, accused of killing her newborn, posted bond on Monday after the amount was significantly reduced from $2 million to $200,000. She had been in jail for five months following the discovery of a baby’s body in the trunk of her SUV at her home in Hilliard last year.
Upon release, she will be placed under house arrest with an ankle monitor, must surrender her travel documents, and is prohibited from contacting her daughter, Hanan Al Jabouli, who also faces charges in the case.
