CLARKSVILLE, Ohio-Nine-year-old Lily Ohler of Oregonia embarked on a business venture after her parents, Amanda and Aaron, encouraged their three oldest daughters to explore ways to earn their own money. Seeking to foster independence and responsibility, the family assigned chores to the girls, but motivation was lacking. Amanda noticed her middle daughter Lily’s interest in beaded items and decided to turn it into a business opportunity.
Despite her young age, Lily is actively involved in managing the business, taking orders, and shipping products. The business has garnered attention not only locally but also from customers in states as far as Texas and Florida.
Amanda hopes the venture will help her daughters learn about entrepreneurship and save money for their future, potentially for college expenses. Lily, initially unaware of the business potential, has found joy in turning her hobby into a successful venture, supported by her family’s encouragement and creative flair.
