Family Remembers 11-Year-Old Boy Killed in School Bus Crash

NORTHWESTERN, Ohio-On the first day of class for Northwestern Local Schools students in Clark County, a tragic accident occurred involving a school bus carrying 52 students, including 11-year-old Aiden Clark. As the bus traveled west on Troy Road, a Honda Odyssey traveling east crossed the center line, leading to a collision between the two vehicles.

Despite the bus driver’s attempts to avoid the crash, the vehicles collided, causing the bus to overturn and the Odyssey to come to rest in a ditch. Sadly, Aiden was ejected from the bus during the accident and lost his life. Twenty-three students sustained injuries and received medical treatment. Aiden’s family described him as a sports enthusiast with an insatiable thirst for knowledge, who enjoyed spending time gardening with his father, playing with his siblings, and engaging in activities like board games and word searches. A memorial service will be held on Sunday to honor Aiden’s memory.
