LIMA, Ohio-Rhodes State College Foundation has received a $15,650 grant from Cenovus Energy to support STEM education initiatives through its Rhodesology Youth Programs. The grant will fund scholarships and program enhancements aimed at inspiring and educating youth in grades 2-7 about STEM careers.
Ashley Hunter, Coordinator of Youth and Community Programming at Rhodes State College, highlighted the grant’s significance in advancing STEM education for local youth. The Rhodesology summer camps, now in their eleventh year, offer hands-on experiences in various STEM fields such as robotics, animation, and environmental science, encouraging young learners to explore STEM career paths.
