PERRY HEIGHTS, Ohio-Seventh-grade students at Perry Heights Middle School had the opportunity to participate in a fire and EMS event hosted by the Perry Township Fire Department.
The event aimed to give students a firsthand experience of what it’s like to be a firefighter. Activities included ladder truck and hose roll contests, trying on fire gear, CPR training, and a live fire demonstration focusing on grease fires. Students found the event valuable as it provided them with essential firefighting skills and allowed them to connect with their local firefighters.
