MASON, Ohio-Tom Rapp, Mason High School’s boys cross country coach, will retire at the end of the season after 19 years as head coach. Under his leadership, the team has won four Division I state titles and been a state runner-up four times. Rapp has been with the Mason cross country program for 23 seasons, including 16 years as an assistant track coach. Despite retiring from coaching, the 64-year-old will continue teaching Spanish at the school, where he has been a fixture for 21 years. Rapp values the strong connections he has made with students and athletes.
