Teens arrested after firing shots and leading police on city pursuit during crime spree

A police pursuit in Columbus ended with the arrest of three juvenile suspects on Thursday morning. The incident started when police responded to reports of juveniles breaking into vehicles in the 1400 block of Union Station near Tuttle Mall.

“They were in this apartment complex, canvassing the area,” said Columbus Police Sgt. James Fuqua. “Everything is still there, my money is there, credit cards still there,” said Lillibeth Corona who owns one of the cars broken into.

According to authorities, the suspects fired rounds before fleeing in a stolen vehicle, which later became disabled.
