Reynoldsburg schools and families navigate change

Reynoldsburg City Schools are preparing for the 2025–26 academic year with fewer teachers, higher athletic fees and a renewed focus on budget survival after voters rejected an $8.3 million levy last fall. The district laid off more than 50 teachers this spring and increased the pay-to-play fee for high school football from $175 to $500. Superintendent Tracy Reed said the district is trying to operate within its financial constraints while maintaining safety and academic standards.
