Ohio Leaders are Finally Starting to Tackle the State’s Child Care Crisis. But a Permanent Solution is still TBD

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Ohio’s child care crisis has started to receive more attention from state officials and legislators, with several proposals and initiatives put forward in the past couple months about making it more available and affordable.

But despite the increased attention given to addressing Ohio’s child care problems, it still remains to be seen what, if anything, state leaders will do to fix them in the long term.
