CINCINNATI, Ohio-Iranetta Wright, the superintendent of Cincinnati Public Schools, spoke in her first television interview since her resignation following a unanimous “no confidence” vote by six unions.
Wright described the rejection as harsh and personal, stating that she agreed to resign after being offered the opportunity. She expressed her desire to be where she is wanted and hopes that the district will find someone capable of continuing the work she started. Wright’s last day is Monday, and she plans to remain in Cincinnati for now.
