FINDAY, Ohio-The Findlay-Hancock County Public Library has initiated its Summer Read 2023 program to combat the “summer slump” in children’s education. They offer various methods to track reading progress and provide incentives for participation.
With funding from the Ohio Department of Education, they’re introducing tutoring services through BrainFuse, ensuring continuous learning during the break. Additionally, a significant portion of the grant supports a new Summer Reading Camp focused on enhancing reading skills for children who may need extra support.
