< 1 min read

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio-Jason Flint, a 17-year-old two-sport athlete at Clinton-Massie High School, tragically died in a crash on Sunday evening. He was a basketball player and track athlete for the Falcons, known as a “great hardworking kid” according to Athletic Director Brian Carey.

The crash occurred before 10 p.m. on Settlemyre Road, involving a 2008 Mazda MX-5 driven by a 19-year-old woman with Flint and another 15-year-old teen as passengers. The vehicle lost control around a curve, overturned, and both Flint and the other teen were ejected, as neither were wearing seatbelts. The community mourns the loss, while the driver and the other passenger are expected to recover. Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the accident.
