COLUMBUS, Ohio-Loudonville and 15 other rural Ohio school districts, along with their counties and townships, will collectively receive $1,579,111 from Ohio’s Trees to Textbooks program. Managed by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Forestry, this initiative distributes funds generated from timber harvested in state forests. Governor Mike DeWine praised ODNR’s stewardship of natural resources, highlighting how these funds support schools and communities, particularly in adapting to technological advancements.
Loudonville students benefit from Trees to Textbooks program
