MAPLETON, Ohio-At a Monday night meeting, Mapleton Board of Education members addressed various damages caused by a recent derecho and severe thunderstorms. These damages included a broken middle school gym roof, office flooding, stadium bathroom damage, and a malfunctioning sewer pump. The storms, occurring on June 13 and 14, led to widespread power outages and structural damage across north central Ohio.
