CINCINNATI, Ohio-A 14-year-old teenager near Cincinnati pleaded guilty to inducing panic after originally facing charges including conspiracy to commit aggravated murder. Prosecutors dropped the more severe charge stemming from text messages with a Colorado man discussing a school attack, as the man couldn’t participate. The teen, who had mental health challenges and was impressionable, possessed a hit list with names of students and a teacher. He was arrested after disclosing the plan to another student and awaits sentencing in July.
