COLUMBUS, Ohio- Anthony Aiello, 46, a former wrestling coach at Bishop Ready High School was arrested after he allegedly inappropriately touched a teenage girl last year. Franklin County Court Municipal Court documents say 46-year-old Anthony Aiello is charged with sexual imposition, telephone harassment and public indecency in connection with two incidents that allegedly happened in September and November of last year.
On September 2023, Anthony Aiello inappropriately touched a teenage girl while she was sleeping. Also on November 2023 he engaged in inappropriate behavior during a FaceTime call, which the girl screen-recorded. Aiello was arrested Thursday and released on Friday after posting a $1,000 surety bond.
A statement from the Diocese of Columbus confirmed Aiello was employed as a wrestling coach at Bishop Ready High School since 2017. The organization said Aiello is no longer employed with them.
