WHITEHOUSE, Ohio-Kevin Herman, currently the assistant superintendent of Anthony Wayne schools, is set to be appointed as interim superintendent following the departure of Jim Fritz. Fritz, who has been superintendent for 14 years, announced he is leaving for Oregon City Schools, with his last day at Anthony Wayne scheduled for July 31. In Oregon, Fritz will initially serve as associate superintendent before assuming the superintendent role on September 28, succeeding Hal Gregory. Gregory, in turn, will transition to assistant superintendent of programs and personnel at North Point Educational Service Center starting September 30.
