CLEVELAND, Ohio-Niesha Walls, a 33-year-old Cleveland woman, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter following the death of her 2-year-old son, Noell Walls, and the discovery of severe neglect involving two other children in her home. On August 6, police found Noell dead due to severe neglect, while the 11- and 9-year-old siblings were found malnourished and hospitalized. The home was in poor condition, with no food and animal feces present. Children’s services are seeking permanent custody of the surviving children. Walls’ bond was set at $100,000, and her case will move to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court. The children’s father’s whereabouts are unknown.
