HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio-A student was arrested at Wayne High School for bringing a gun onto campus on September 17. Huber Heights City Schools received a report about the potential weapon just before noon and quickly coordinated with police and school resource officers. The student was located in an in-school suspension classroom, where he was detained and searched after other students were safely removed. A gun was found in his backpack. The school commended the prompt actions of staff and law enforcement and stated that appropriate criminal and disciplinary measures would follow.
