U.S. Marshals, Canton Police Department and the U.S. State Department recovered two missing children in Iceland last week.
According to a release, officials found the children in Reykjavik, Iceland on Jan. 10.
The 8-year-old and 9-year-old were reported missing to Canton Police on Oct. 25, 2024, by family members.
Reports indicated that the children’s mother has stopped taking her ‘mental health medication’ and abandoned her apartment.
