The Toledo Buffalo Soldiers will give free lunches to students at Kei’Mani Latigue’s former elementary school on Friday, which would have been the teenager’s 14th birthday, the organization announced in a press release. The food will be provided by the Off The Rails Food Trolley, a food truck operated by Buffalo Soldiers member Jim Rhegness. Toledo’s Costco will also provide cake for students and teachers.
