Bellbrook-Sugarcreek students and parents were shocked to learn the library at Bellbrook High School was closed on the first day. It’s the result of a new policy enacted back in April, regulating books containing sexual content and gender ideology. The policy stemmed from a new state law, in which Bellbrook-Sugarcreek Schools interpreted the definitions of those terms. Parents are now required to sign a waiver to permit their children to read any content involving sexuality and gender ideology.
