Classes at Northridge Local Schools in Licking County were canceled Thursday after authorities say a man made “concerning comments” during a phone call with a district staff member. Superintendent Brian Blum said in a Thursday afternoon statement that local law enforcement contacted the district Wednesday night to report a concern. In consultation with authorities, Blum decided to close the schools.
