Days after a North Ridgeville teen was hit and killed trying to cross a busy intersection on Lorain Road, near Cook, friends and classmates are working to turn the tragedy into change. Violet Gustafson, 16, was struck and killed Monday while attempting to cross Lorain Road during her work break at McDonald’s. The North Ridgeville teen was trying to reach a Starbucks across the street when the accident happened. Sadly, she died at the scene.
