April 3rd, 2024-COLUMBUS, Ohio-An 11-year-old boy named Dominic Davis was killed in a shooting incident in Cincinnati’s West End. The shooting occurred on Friday evening when a shooter in a sedan fired 22 rounds into a crowd of children. Along with Dominic, a 53-year-old woman and four other children, aged 12 to 15, were injured. One victim remained hospitalized in stable condition.
Authorities have not yet made any arrests in connection with the shooting. It remains unclear whether the shooting was random or targeted. Dominic’s father, Isaac Davis, along with other family members, pleaded for the perpetrator to surrender. Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval described the incident as a “horrific tragedy” and vowed to pursue justice for the victims.
