April 5th, 2024-WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio-A sixth-grade student from West Carrollton Intermediate School was arrested for allegedly making threats of violence on Snapchat. Moraine Police Chief Craig Richardson confirmed the arrest for inducing panic, a second-degree felony. The school promptly notified families and contacted the Moraine PD, securing the campus. Principal Monica Woods stated that there was no viable threat or harm to students or staff during the incident. Investigations are ongoing.
