East Dayton organization promotes positive habits for youth through cycling initiative

Local organizations in East Dayton are taking proactive steps to instill positive habits in children through the “Pedal for Progress” event. On Monday, dozens gathered along Mad River for an 18-mile bike ride, where Building Bridges, Inc. unveiled 35 new bikes for Miami Valley youths. Judge Gerald Parker, president of Building Bridges, Inc., emphasized the importance of keeping children engaged in productive activities to prevent risky behaviors.
