Ecole Kenwood Earns National Recognition as One of America’s Healthiest Schools

Columbus City Schools’ (CCS) Ecole Kenwood French Immersion has been named one of America’s Healthiest Schools by the Alliance for a Healthier Generation for the second consecutive year. Kenwood earned top marks in every category for which it applied. Since 2007, this national honor has celebrated buildings for prioritizing the physical, mental, and social-emotional health of students, staff, and families. “I’m ecstatic about this award,” said Bryan Ferres, gym teacher at Ecole Kenwood. “It’s a prestigious award. We put forth a lot of effort into applying, and to be awarded for things that we do each and every day, and being honored on a national stage is a great honor.”
