Franklin County Children Services Levy Passes with Strong Voter Support

COLUMBUS, Ohio-The 2024 Franklin County Children Services Levy (Issue 46), a 2.5-mill renewal with a slight increase, is expected to pass with around 65% voter approval. Chip Spinning, Executive Director of Franklin County Children Services (FCCS), thanked the community for their support, emphasizing the importance of the levy in ensuring child safety and supporting families. The levy will fund FCCS programs focused on protecting children from abuse and neglect, addressing mental health and emotional challenges, and strengthening families. It will also support neighborhood-based prevention programs and provide resources for relatives and family friends caring for children in need. Spinning expressed gratitude for the community’s confidence in the agency’s mission.
