EAST, KNOX, Ohio-The Knox Community Hospital Auxiliary recently granted 12 $1,000 scholarships to local high school and college students pursuing health care undergraduate degrees. Recipients were selected based on academic achievement, community involvement, and financial need.
The scholarships, funded through the Auxiliary’s fundraising events and KCH Gift Shop sales, aim to support aspiring healthcare professionals. Additionally, the Nellie & Lowell Truex Memorial Scholarship, awarded to Arwen Furnis, marks its eighth year of recognition. All scholarship recipients reside in Knox County.
