AVON, Ohio-Following Lorain High School’s graduation ceremony at Crusher’s Stadium, a fight erupted, resulting in one boy being injured and multiple adults and juveniles being cited for disorderly conduct. Avon police responded to the incident at 9:05 p.m. and quickly requested assistance from neighboring police departments.
The injured boy was transported to Cleveland Clinic-Avon Hospital for a hand injury. The individuals cited were released, and their names have not been disclosed. Avon police are collaborating with Lorain City Schools Administration, and the investigation is ongoing. Once concluded, reports will be submitted to the Avon Lake Municipal Prosecutor and Lorain County Juvenile Court.
