After reporting the graffiti, she received a response from Superintendent Kevin O’Shea, who deemed it “ridiculous and unacceptable” and promised an investigation. However, Cousino noted that similar slurs have appeared weekly for the past three weeks without further updates from the school. While she doesn’t want to identify the offenders, she seeks a clear message from the school condemning racism.
