WOOD, Ohio-Zachary Gibson, a former personal trainer from Wood County, was sentenced to 60.5-66 years in prison and lifetime registration as a sex offender following a jury conviction on 19 charges, including rape, gross sexual imposition, and distributing harmful material to minors. The crimes involved high school-aged athletes whom Gibson trained while working at Fastrak Performance in Perrysburg. His sentencing aimed to provide closure and justice to the victims and their families, according to the Wood County Prosecutor’s Office.
