BELLEFONTAINE , Ohio-The Bellefontaine City Schools Board of Education held its monthly meeting on Monday night, where Executive Director of Instructional Services Shanel Henry presented the district’s state report card, highlighting an overall score of 3.5 out of 5. Key strengths included gap closing and a graduation rate of 95.9%, both receiving scores of 4, which exceed state standards. The district also performed well in early literacy and college readiness. The board approved several student trips, including four out-of-state competitions for BHS Robotics and the annual 8th-grade trip to Washington, DC, planned for May. Additionally, the board reviewed monthly financial reports and approved salary adjustments for several teachers.
