Police: Young boy critically injured following dog attack in north Columbus

A child was seriously injured after being attacked by two dogs in north Columbus Sunday afternoon, police say. Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to the 3500 block of Hiawatha Street, located in North Linden, shortly after 1 p.m. on a report of dogs attacking a young child. Sgt. Joseph Albert said a boy under the age of 10 was transported to a local hospital by one of the responding officers in “extremely critical condition.”
