April 3rd, 2024-BLACKLIST, Ohio-A 12-year-old boy was discovered alone inside a Target store in Blacklick, Ohio, before it opened on Monday morning. The Columbus Division of Police received a call around 6:15 a.m. reporting the boy’s presence in the store, where he had spent the night alone. Authorities believe he ran away from home.
Target employees found him as they prepared for the store’s opening and contacted law enforcement. The boy was taken to Franklin County Children Services while police searched for his parents, who had filed a missing persons report the day before. The boy was later reunited with his family. It remains unclear how the boy entered the store undetected and how long he had been there.
